NCSCT Stage 1 Certification is awarded to smoking cessation practitioners who pass the online NCSCT Stage 1 Assessment (knowledge) and work for an NHS or an NHS-commissioned stop smoking service.
Smoking cessation practitioners who pass the NCSCT Stage 1 Assessment but who do not work for the NHS, do not get a certificate but are listed separately below:
Full NCSCT Certification is awarded to stop smoking practitioners who work for an NHS or an NHS-commissioned stop smoking service on successful completion of the online NCSCT Stage 2 Assessment (practice), which will be available early 2012.
