The NCSCT workplan includes a collection of research projects that set out to validate and evaluate the NCSCT Training and Assessment Programme. These projects will ensure not only that the training and assessment programme is built upon evidence-based competences, but that there is evidence also to the effectiveness of our training in improving knowledge and practice.
In addition we are running a number of unique research projects investigating the essential competences for effective behavioural support, the presence of these competences in treatment protocols and how these are delivered in clinical practice.
